I guess this is a pretty simple debate. Should College be free? As in like should it be that you don't have to pay s*** in order to get into college. Yea know like, should it be just based on grades and GPA alone.
I say yes, but then it brings up the question as who's gonna pay the professors and s***.

it might hurt the economy for a while but long term it'll help! everybody will be more educated and will have more skills, the level of competition will rise exponentially and that'll means better products, better salaries, higher prices, we'd hit a peak again. On the other hand it'll be harder to get people to do the "bad" jobs, like nobody will ever work in a fast food shop, constructor, gardener... if they have a college degree It should just be like in switzerland where it's almost free ;mine is a relatively expensive one and it's 700CHF a year which is like 500$, taking into consideration that the B.M.index here is muuuch higher than in the us (which means in sum that things are more expensive here but ppl gain more money too) So here they're rly cheap compared to the us, but they're also pretty hard to get in That makes it perfect because it allows the people capable intellectually in instead of just letting the financially capable in

You make some really good points. But now when I think about it, Macdonalds and Burger King, and Wendy's will suffer dramatically, but also maybe grocery stores will suffer as well. Nobody wants to work at a grocery store as a cashier or bagger. So without people to operate the store, things could get really interesting with how to purchace food. Also other stores may suffer as well. Clothing stores, shoe stores, malls, and other stuff to. Wow lol. I guess the possablities are endless. But I'm sure there are still some people who wouldn't go to college even if it was free. I'm still not sure if I really wanna study social work anymore.
