I drove my brother into Thames so we could have lunch with Mum and sort out some stuff for the ball, then we went and saw my nana at the home where she lives. On the way back the sky was black ... well, you know, really really dark grey ... just everywhere. Where we were, behind us, there were white clouds and blue sky, but before us was just a solid wall of black. It was freaky, because everything else was all sunny. Anyway we got off the bridge and 'round the Turua turnoff bend and we were following this truck that was kicking up spray onto the windscreen, so I tried to pass it. But as I swung out the rain started pelting down onto us, it was so hard that even with the wipers turned up full bore my windscreen wouldn't clear, more water would just replace the stuff that was wiped off. Anyway we were almost pass the truck when this d.ickhead without his lights on, in a dark car as well, came barrelling up and I had to slam on the brakes and drop back behind the truck and I seriously missed dying by a few metres. Then the rain started hitting us so hard that I couldn't even see shapes, let alone the truck ahead of me, so I pulled over until it passed. Now my bro is going on about female drivers and how we suck. *strangles him mentally*

OMG. Don't you just hate near death experiences? I've had so many that I could write a book about them. I don't see anything that you did wrong so your brother really shouldn't of been complaining lol. I'm just glad your safe.
