I'm really shocked that a children's book has a gay theme to it. Books like this didn't exist when I was in school.

He shouldn't have read the book to the class. If I had kids, I would want them to learn about homosexuality from me or my spouse.

I think it was a risky move for him to do it. I can't believe another teacher encouraged him to do it though.

He just should not have done it. There is na not a right way yo teach about homosexuality in a school setting.

I don't really see the big deal. Everyone is going to learn about being gay in their own way, so it shouldn't matter if they learn it from school or not.

School is not a good setting to learn about homosexuality. I feel that the school would influence kids to be gay. What I mean is in a bad way.

But how? If anything, the school would just teach basic things about being gay.
Probably something simple like if two people of the same sex have an attraction to each other, then that's considered gay or something.
