You guys do know it's MLK day right? Everyone around me didn't seem to really care. This guy really did amazing things for equality. At least one person I met today actually seemed to acknowledge the holiday.

I'm guessing MLK day is for martin luther king? (first thought that entered my apparently very simple mind was milk day lol)
what does this day represent? is it his birthday, or did he accomplish something particular that day?

Yes it is lol!!! I think MLK Day is day dedicated to honoring all his hard work for the civil rights movement. He had major contributions. If I was to give you more information, I'd have to look all this up lol. God I almost wish I was in school again, cause in school, they would show all these old documentaries and movies about him.

I dont have school on MLK day soooooooo ya That was the best part of MLK Day when I was in school. We had two days off though. |
