After seeing some commercials on MTV about trying to preserve the Earth, It's got me thinking. Why bother? The Earth will eventually come to an end. Nothing lasts forever, and all of our efforts to try to save the oceans, or stop global warming is just a futile task. I think that we should just give up on trying to stall our inevitable demise and just let things take It's natural course. What do you guys think?

I see where you're coming from, but it doesn't help that we're speeding up the process. I say the efforts are to revert things that we've caused ourselves.

I think we should all try to stop pumping so much toxins out anyway, or else we'll be going back to horse and cart before scientists can invent alternative fuels that are cheap enough to buy (no probs for me! I've got horses!).

Theres no way that thousands of people are gonna all revert. No, but you have to clap for the twelve people who actually care.

True, we're all going to die sometime, but this isn't the natural course. I see all of the stuff we're trying to do as a way to make the world better for this generation and generations to come... not so much as preventing death. The world is probably doomed by now anyways though. I would much rather live in a world with less polution and stuff, even if it meant less technologies.

You know, our next generation might not even care what happens to the Earth.
